Royal Albert Hall
NOV 2025
Letters to Joan reached a new milestone when I was invited to read one of my grandmother’s original letters at Letters Live at Royal Albert Hall alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, Joe Alwyn, Nish Kumar, Michael Palin, Celia Imrie, and more. It was truly a dream come true.
LETTERS LIVE
LETTERS TO JOAN
At the end of 2022, I discovered hundreds of love letters my grandparents wrote when they first met. Both had passed away before I was eleven, and though I had memories of them, I never truly knew them. Reading their words felt like meeting them for the first time — and became the seed for Letters to Joan, a play that has been my love letter back to them.

The play premiered at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe, performed by me and Kevin Cahill as Grandpa, and directed by Martavius Parrish (Broadway: Into the Woods and Once Upon a Mattress, Associate Director). After a sold-out run at Fringe, it went on to a London run at the Voila! Theatre Festival in November 2025, directed by Jessica Whiley (2025 Scotsman Fringe First–winning director of Youth in Flames).
THIS GREEN PLOT SHALL BE
OUR STAGE
For my final university project, I wrote and performed an original one-woman Shakespeare show, This Green Plot Shall Be Our Stage, presented at the Duke Gardens’ Fisher Amphitheater.
At the heart of the piece is my exploration of literal and metaphorical forests — spaces of possibility, freedom, and transformation. The experience began with an audio tour through the Gardens, inviting audiences into pausing for immersive moments—tossing a coin into a fountain, writing down their own forests of respite, and exchanging them for candles—before arriving at the performance stage at an outdoor amphitheatre. These rituals grounded them in their own memories, giving them a new perspective on Shakespeare.

AUDIO
TOURS
After creating the audio tour for my final university show, I continued developing audio tours — intimate, guided listening experiences that invite people to slow down and reflect as they move through a place, on their own but alongside others.
I’ve created tours in Central Park, a goodbye tour when leaving New York for London, a New Year’s Eve meditation on time, and several connected to my play Letters to Joan and the ritual of letter writing.
